Memory Lanes (2520 26th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55406)
Meet at 9:30 PM and begin bowling about 10 PM

There will be live music from 10 PM on from some awesome local bands:
Animal Lover (Tour Kickoff)
Sand Creeps
Dentist

(disclaimer: this union supporting event is not officially endorsed by Memory Lanes or the bands, we are organizing it ourselves)

IF YOU WANT TO BOWL:
Don’t just click “attend” on this facebook event, we need you to do more for this to work.
First you’ll need to decide how many games you will be bowling, and then get friends to pledge dollar amount pledges for each strike you bowl at the event (any amount they feel comfortable pledging)
– as you get your pledges from friends, please email them to us at: sisterscamelotcanvassunion(at)gmail(dot)com
(name of pledger, amount pledged per strike, contact information for following through).
2-3 games of bowling recommended.

Please get as many pledges as you can, but any and all help is so very much appreciated.

Bowling will cost you $2 per game and $3 for shoe rental.

IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND but WANT TO PLEDGE TO SUPPORT A BOWLER:
Email us at:
sisterscamelotcanvassunion(at)gmail(dot)com
and tell us how much $ you are willing to pledge (per strike) for how many games of bowling. Also tell us if you want to either sponsor the bowler who bowls the most STRIKES or if you want us to apply your pledge to a random bowler pulled out of a hat.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPONSOR a STRIKING Union Member to pay for them to bowl:
Include in your email (above) how much money you can donate before May 20 to pay to sponsor STRIKING Union Members to be able to bowl.

The IWW Sisters’ Camelot Canvass Union Members have had to endure being on strike since March 1, 2013. These striking workers need all the support they can get to endure losing their livelihood while fighting to protect their basic right to organize a union to fight for better working conditions.
